“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world” – Robert McKee
For my Senior Capstone experience, I decided to explore the world of storytelling through multiple perspectives: writing, reading, and listening. By researching different mythologies from around the globe and learning what goes into story building, I have explored how stories have impacted the world, and what makes them so captivating. I have experienced the virtues of creativity, courage, passion, and perseverance which correspond with creating, reading, and experiencing different stories. Through the practice and understanding of these virtues, I hope to convey the importance and impact of storytelling as well as successfully create and share my own stories.
