We also talk about words and how they hurt people’s feelings when you use certain ones. While it was controversial, I am nothing but happy to have had this discussion, as it provokes interesting thought from all perspectives. Keep in mind that having a different opinion is okay; there is no need to go on a witch hunt after people that think differently. However, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have critical conversation around the issue, as then nothing would ever be resolved.
