You are invited to Truth Storytelling with the Peace Alliance including the United States Department of Peacebuilding Campaign, HR #1111, currently in Congress.

Truth Storytelling meets the first Saturday of the month, every month. You do not have to register or be a member of The Peace Alliance to attend. Come and hear more about digital legacies, peacebuilding and truth and reconciliation. For more details see peacealliance.org under Calendar. For more details about the DoP Campaign or The Peace Alliance contact nancy@peacealliance.org or kathy@peacealliance.org, respectively.

We are a warm and welcoming group. We listen and we care. Our conversations focus on how we can contribute to the collective shift going on globally toward a more peaceful, more truthful and more just world. We can save the planet AND bring peace to the world at the same time. We are one. We are different, but the same.

This is an edited video of a splendid Truth Storytelling Gathering on Saturday Dec 3, 2022. We had two special guests. Dr. Noga Glucksam and Sarah Coward. See below for the complete details on both guests.

Dr. Glucksam has collected truth stories from over 25 countries and offers insights into how we can build a more peaceful future. Dr. Glucksam mentions that phenomenon “ontological security,” which can interfere with understanding between individuals within and among groups.

Sarah Coward has developed an award winning technological innovation in her video recordings that are translated into digital legacies of individuals. She has been involved in many kinds of projects from Holocaust survivors to cancer patients.

Conact DJ Chandler, Ph.D. at truthstorytelling@gmail.com for more information about this series. We will be launching an extension of this gathering next year where folks will be invited to co-create practical applications for digital legacies by combining Dr. Glucksam’s insights with Sarah Coward’s technologies.

Please join us! Peace is possible!

Noga Glucksam, Ph.D.

Assistant professor in international relations and international law at Richmond the American International University in London, and a lecturer in Human Rights at University College London (UCL).

Currently she works on a grounded theory project on grassroots reconciliation initiatives, as well as an alternative to righteousness-focused approaches to justice and peacebuilding.

From Dr.Glucksam’s website Pathways of Reconciliation:

Pathways of Reconciliation is a London-based academic research project that examines the work of non-governmental reconciliation initiatives from around the world, with the aim of developing a systematic understanding of reconciliation in different contexts. The project also aims to draw lessons from case studies towards developing a multifaceted theory of reconciliation. The project also aims to develop a community of researchers, activists and policymakers working on reconciliation, to share ideas and to help advance the topic in research, education, policy and activism.
