How to Upgrade to Google Analytics 4? (and when should you do it)

In late 2020, Google Analytics launched its new version called Google Analytics 4. It was previously known as Google Analytics App + Web.
From that moment, it is the default property type when you want to create new properties.
What should you do if you are already using the previous version (called Universal Analytics)?
In this video, I will show you how to upgrade to Google Analytics 4 but before that, I’ll answer the question of when should you fully migrate to it. There is no need to completely ditch the older version. Actually, it is recommended to keep using both (at least for now).
